Northants
Authors Group
Northants Authors is made up of local writers who have published books, some with traditional publishers and some who have self-published. Most of their books are in printed form as well as e-books and are also available on Amazon Books UK.

You will find us in attendance at book shops and clubs, literary and craft fairs, care homes, and libraries, where we talk about our work, do readings, examine writing for those interested in writing themselves, and signings of our books for our customers.
We welcome the chance to show the vast array of subjects that our group cover. Our members write in a variety of different genres, from crime, historical to romance novels, poetry, contemporary, autobiographies, plays, aromatherapy, information guides and children’s books.
The aim of the group is to sell our books and to present and promote to the public local talent that may not yet have been discovered. We are very happy to help charities and clubs who host us with donations or a percentage of our sales.

Rosemary Sturge
I've been writing stories since was a child; with my parents believing I would grow up to be a novelist. My teachers, however, were less impressed with my talents. Having spent most of my working life teaching young children and teenagers who wanted to become nursery workers, I now write historical novels and have 6 books published so far!

Tom Norford
Thomas Norford is the pen-name of science /action author Thomas Norford, but he is known to his friends as Thomas Norford. He is currently producing books at a rate of one every 45 years. He has a third novel, ‘Crimson Dragon,’ and a novel written by his aunt in the 1950s, Ruth Martin. ‘Let the Grass Grow Green’ .
Garry Dix
Garry's aim is to share his books with as many young readers as possible. The first series of the 'Brian Brackbrick' books is now available - this is a series of 6 books, each with their own stand-alone story, but also working towards a terribly exciting conclusion! These easy to read (and fun!) chapter books star Brian Brackbrick, the 138th cleverest person in the whole world, and his best friend, George Bum. Series 1 sees Brian and George uncovering the mystery of: "Who is Mr Sparker?" The second series is currently in development.
